DVAA Offering Three Art Grants in 2013
For Non-Profit Groups, Individual Artists, and Collaborations between Teachers and Artists

Delaware Valley Arts Alliance in Narrowsburg is offering three grants for cultural programs in 2013, funded by the Decentralization Program at the New York State Council on the Arts.

1. Decentralization Grants fund non-profit groups performing or presenting arts programs such as concerts, arts publications, exhibits, literary programs, lectures, theater performances, film screenings, workshops, and more.

2. Artists in the Community Grant for a highly accomplished artist in creating new and significant work involving community participation in the creative process.

3. Arts Partners in Education Grants fund partnerships between teachers at a grade-level and artists or cultural organizations. Partnerships between schools and teaching artists or cultural organizations from Sullivan County are eligible.

Application deadline for all grants has been extended to:
Friday, December 14, 2012 at 4 p.m.

Completed grant applications must be submitted to the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance by Friday, November 30. Applicants are notified of the decision in early 2013, and projects may begin immediately thereafter. For further information, call (845) 252-7576.
